Premiere Documentary Screening:  Escape From Suburbia (1 night only!)

Everyone is invited to join director Gregory Greene and producer Dara
Rowland as they unveil the long-awaited Escape from Suburbia: Beyond the
American Dream, Greene's second in a trilogy of environmental documentary
films about the coming of peak oil and the reinvention of the American
Dream.

Greene's last film, The End of Suburbia was an indie success story
catching the attention of tens of thousands of environmentalists around
the globe and media spotlights on The Colbert Report, Oprah, CNN, The New
York Times, Globe and Mail, Toronto Star, CBC radio among others.

After the screening, join the crew at Pauper's Pub across the street
(second floor and roof top garden) to continue the discussion.

Time: 7:00 PM to 9:00 p.m.

Where: The Bloor Cinema, 506 Bloor St. West (at Bathurst)

The Women's Environmental Alliance: A Special Evening with Lois Corbett

Come out and join WEA for their monthly socialising and networking
meeting, and hear Lois Corbett speak about her rich and varied career,
sharing stories about politics, policies, and her ongoing work tackling
Ontario's environmental issues, Following this will be a general
networking session, where you can join other green-minded women to share
knowledge and stories, network and bond, and above all to have fun and
relax!

Lois is the former Executive Director of the Toronto Environmental
Alliance and President of the Conservation Council of Ontario .She is
currently senior policy advisor for Laurel Broton, the Minister of the
Environment for the province of Ontario.

Time : 6.30pm -10pm... feel free to drop in at any time! Speaker will
start at 7pm prompt.

Where: Patio, Midtown Restaurant and Bar, 40 Eglinton Avenue East. (Food
is available for purchase.)

Map & Directions: The Midtown is located just east of Yonge and Eglinton

Brian Gordon Sinclair's Stories for Hemingway's Havana, featuring scenes
about Hemingway's experience with electroshock.

multifaceted personality.He understands Hemingway's strengths as well as
vulnerabilities and does him justice.he (Sinclair) reaches into the writer's
