<http://bit.ly/owxDJl> German Village Produces 321% More Energy Than It

announced plans to shut down all of its nuclear power plants
<http://inhabitat.com/german-parliament-approves-plans-for-nuclear-exit-by-2
022/> and started the construction of 2,800 miles of transmission lines
<http://inhabitat.com/germany-to-construct-2800-miles-of-transmission-lines-
as-it-abandons-nuclear-power-for-renewable-energy/> for its new renewable
energy initiative, but now the village of Wildpoldsried
<http://inhabitat.com/german-village-produces-321-more-energy-than-it-needs/
www.wildpoldsried.de/> is producing 321% more energy than it needs! The
small agricultural village in the state of Bavaria is generating an
impressive $5.7 million in annual revenue from renewable energy.

During this Christmas time we should take time to thank Duncan Hawthorne,
President and CEO of Bruce Power, the largest nuclear conglomerate in the
world, for his gifts to humanity:

- Bruce Power New Build (4 new reactors) abandoned in 2009,

- New Fuel project to spike up output of the 8 reactors abandoned,

- Nanticoke nuclear power project abandoned,

- Bid on Atomic Energy Canada Ltd.(AECL) purchase withdrawn,

- Alberta Nuclear Build project abandoned.

And oh ya, maybe, just maybe with such a great record he might just abandon
shipping those 'slightly' radioactive crates (SGs) across the globe to
Sweden!

Thanks so much, Santa Duncan, and a Happy (no-) nuclear year to you, too!

Cheers, Ziggy.
