Making Sense of the “Pig Trial”
On Animal Liberation Currents mainpage, 2 items are posted on the Anita Krajnc case that just in the courts. Anita was charged with giving water to a pig on board a transport truck as it pulled up to the gates of a slaughterhouse in 2015. Anita was just cleared of all charges. Although lauded as an "animal rights" trial, the decision in the case has not altered the legal status for animals in any way.
